Why Choose Us for Veneers?
At Sun City Dental in El Paso, Dr. Gonzalez uses veneers made of high-quality porcelain and composite materials that are indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Our advanced technology makes veneer placement easier and more comfortable than ever before. We use digital scanning technology to create impressions of your bite, so you won't have to bite into dental putty. Additionally, we use the state-of-the-art Solea® Laser to prepare teeth for veneers, meaning we don't have to use needles or dental drills.
As a cosmetic service, veneers are not covered by dental insurance. However, thanks to CareCredit® financing, you can afford veneers with our El Paso dentist. CareCredit is a reputable healthcare lender that allows qualifying patients to pay for dental care in manageable monthly installments.

El Paso's Only Solea Laser
Dr. Gonzalez is proud to be the only dentist in Greater El Paso who uses the game-changing Solea Laser. Patients love when we use this innovative technology because it allows us to complete procedures quickly with no needles or drills. How do we utilize the Solea Laser during veneer treatment?
- Hard Tissue Modification: Before Dr. Gonzalez can place a dental veneer on a tooth, he must remove a thin layer of enamel so that the veneer will lay flush alongside the surrounding teeth. He can use the Solea Laser to remove this enamel, making the process more comfortable and less intimidating.
- Soft Tissue Modification: The Solea Laser can also be used to reshape the gums. If you have a gummy smile, our dentist can perform gum contouring alongside veneer placement to achieve the most flattering results.
Step-by-Step: The Traditional Dental Veneers Process
We Also Offer LUMINEERS
LUMINEERS® are a variety of veneers that are even thinner, so we often don't have to remove enamel from the teeth before they can be bonded. They are so thin, however, that they are more translucent, so they aren't a great option for teeth that are deeply stained or have larger chips. During your consultation, Dr. Gonzalez will recommend whether traditional veneers or LUMINEERS are better for your smile.
"I am extremely happy to report my procedure was performed with the utmost professionalism and care. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and Dr. Gonzalez is absolutely a fabulous Dentist. This is the only dental experience that has not left me fearing to go back. Thank you all for such a comfortable experience." Rose Romero, 5-Star Google Review
Caring for Veneers
Veneers are as easy to care for as your natural teeth. You won't have to make any major changes to your oral hygiene routine. Make sure you continue to brush and floss daily and visit our dentist for routine exams twice a year.
Veneers are very durable, but they're not indestructible. Exercise caution when biting into crunchy foods like apples or hard granola bars. You should also be sure not to chew on pens, ice, or your nails.
If you follow all recommendations, your veneers can easily last for 10 years or longer.
